PALPA
has a golden and novel history of its
own. It cannot be described in one or
couple of pages, when a history of PALPA
will be written it would have volumes
and volumes. In short Pakistan Airline
Pilots Association came into being in
1962. Its foundation was laid by a group
of dedicated Pilots who formed the Pakistan
Pilots’ Association (PPA) in 1954.
Pakistan Pilots’ Association joined
the world community as a member of International
Federation of Airline Pilots Association
(IFALPA) in March 1956.
Over the
years PALPA grew up considerably in
terms of numbers and technical expertise,
which was duly recognized by the PIA
Management, and accorded them to negotiate
their working conditions. [
