Extract of the letter received from PIAHCL dated 7th July 2026, is reproduced hereunder: –

  1. PASSAGE: As regards passage rights, the arrangement is still being finalized by & between PIAC and PIA-HCL.
  2. MEDICAL: To resolve the medical issues related with State Life Insurance Corporation (SLIC), periodic meetings with SLIC and PIACL retirees including PALPA would be arranged/convened at Karachi/Islamabad with consent.
  3. PENSION: It was informed to the participants that since March – 2026 onward Pension is being disbursed by PIA-HCL. As per Finance Division-GoP and SBP Circulars biometric verification twice a year (March & September) is mandatory. Accordingly, the Pensioners may visit their respective Bank Branches for the required verifications and the certificates received may be forwarded to the following email address and/or WhatsApp number.

4.   PENSION FUND TRUST: All affairs of PIACL have been vested to PIAHCL through the Scheme of Arrangement as sanctioned by the SECL vide Order dated 3rd May 2024, therefore any grievances or objection may be taken to the appropriate forum.
