The PALPA-PIAC Working Agreement 2011-2013 is a signed and agreed document which is binding on the Association as well as the management. Any deviation and/or change in the Working Agreement cannot be done unilaterally by either party, and the ONLY way to amend any clause is given in the same document.
The Association over the decades has tried to improve upon the various Articles of our Working Agreement and the current PALPA-PIAC Working Agreement 2011-2013 is the result of a lot of hard work and research. Especially the FDTL as mentioned in Article-III are carefully etched and have withstood the test of times. Inspite of the Executive Committee’s best efforts and numerous meetings with the higher management, due to the highhandedness of the Directorate of Flight Operations, a stage has come where the management is not at all willing to implement the current Working Agreement.
The Executive Committee has endorsed the decision of the Special General Meeting of 14th September 2015 to follow the PALPA-PIAC Working Agreement 2011-2013 w.e.f. 1st October 2015.
Kindly find attached the Article-III for your ready reference and in case of any ambiguity feel free to contact any Executive Committee Member.
All respected members are also informed that as per the resolution of SGM any member who violates the instructions of the Executive Committee shall be dealt as per The Constitution of PALPA clause 188.8.131.52 Misconduct.
Therefore, w.e.f. 1st October 2015, the members are requested to follow all the Articles of PALPA-PIAC Working Agreement 2011-2013 in letter and spirit.
