Please refer to our previous INFO dated 3rd July 2020 regarding depositing of Rs. 50,000 for the legal case. Due to changing dynamics, the Executive Committee has revisited the decision and has decided the following actions:
- All PALPA members are requested to deposit three 03 months (April, May June 2020) of subscription fees @ one 01 hour of flying allowance plus Rs. 1,000/- (service less than 15 years) or Rs. 1,500/- (service more than 15 years) per month by Monday the 06th of July, 2020. Example for 12 years of service: 6,907 + 1,000 = 7,907. 7,907 x 3 = 23,721/-.
- All pilots whose name is on the alleged suspicious license list are requested to deposit Rs. 100,000/- by Monday, July 6, 2020 (Other than the monthly PALPA Subscription). Those who have already deposited Rs. 50,000/- are requested to deposit the balance of Rs. 50,000/- by the due date.
- All members whose name is not on the list are requested to deposit as much as they can as this is a matter of dignity for all pilots. Their contribution will be highly appreciated for this just cause.
Once again, it is urged that timing is crucial in this regard. We have hired the most prestigious lawyers of Pakistan to plead this case in the Supreme Court. Therefore any delay in the deposit will effect the case.
We also stress the importance of unity during these trying times.
