Dear Members,
اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم

The prime objective of PALPA is Safer Flying. One of the leading global causes of accidents during approach and landing is an unstable approach. The need to fly stabilized approaches is a fundamental requirement to ensure a safe landing. This aspect of safe flying is re-emphasized by all Safety and Standards Departments of airlines around the world.

To build a prosperous safety culture at PIA, we at PALPA reiterate to stringently follow circulars disseminated by PIA regarding safety and standards from time to time. All pilots are urged to strictly follow SOP’s, OM, and recent circulars by Chief Pilot Standards Inspection on this subject; FLTOPS/SI/41/Jul 29, 2020 and FLTOPS/SI/44/Jul 30, 2020. It is also highly recommended that additional reading on this subject be done routinely, such as:

We wish all our respected members safe flying and happy landings.

With Best Regards,

Capt. Narejo
GENERAL SECRETARY
