The Directorate of Flight Operations has once again completely disregarded a signed agreement by planning transition training on A-320 aircrafts without following the laid down procedures & also bypassing the eligibility as defined in the rules of the corporation.
This is an alarming situation and shows the mindset of the current directorate. If left unchecked this could escalate to a dangerous level where even our basic legitimate rights will be in jeopardy.
The Executive Committee has time and again requested the management to follow the PALPA-PIAC Working Agreement 2011-2013 in letter and spirit as it is the only recognized, signed and legal document governing the working conditions of PIA pilots, failing which we will have no other choice but to leave no stone unturned to protect our Working Agreement.
The President & the Executive Committee will keep on fighting to safeguard the rights of every member and with the traditional support of the members will succeed in our goals, INSHAH ALLAH!
