ALL PALPA MEMBERS:
السلام عليكم

The Executive Committee is grieved by the loss of lives of our fellow employees during the protest at Karachi Airport on 2nd February 2016. The entire pilot community shares the grief of the bereaved families and urge the concern authorities to bring the culprits to justice.

Despite being against the process of Privatization of the National Flag Carrier, PALPA has serious concerns about the inconvenience being caused to the passengers due to the ongoing protest.

Historically, PALPA has always stood for the enforcement of mutually signed agreements and has always gone the extra mile for the benefit of the airline.

In the interest of the travelling public, airline, employees and their families, we have already requested the Government of Pakistan to take the necessary steps so that the Flight Operations of PIAC shall be resumed at the earliest.

The Executive Committee would like to thank the members for their support and as soon as the environment becomes conducive to proceed on flights, we would inform the members after re-assuring the safety concerns with the Directorate of Flight Operations.

With Best Regards,

Capt. Sohail Ahmed
GENERAL SECRETARY
